Morgan Hobbs is an artist, curator, and educator based in Philadelphia, PA. She has organized numerous exhibitions at the Gallery at Moore College of Art and Design, Mercer County Community College, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Gross McCleaf Gallery, AUTOMAT, and beyond. She says, “I love to support artists and their careers…. I’m deeply inspired by all those who have dedicated their lives to making art.”
In addition to an active art practice, Hobbs is a co-founder of AUTOMAT Gallery, an artist-run collective and gallery space also based in Philadelphia. She worked in Student Services at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts from 2015 - 2020, and as the Assistant Director at Gross McCleaf Gallery from 2020 - 2024. In 2024, she left her position as the Assistant Director of Gross McCleaf Gallery to establish Structure and Form Artist Services.
Artists are increasingly responsible for their own exhibition preparation, writing, public relations, sales and more. Structure and Form Artist Services was created to alleviate the pressure of those time consuming tasks, so that busy artists can focus more time on their studio practices and spend less time in front of a computer. While Hobbs handles most projects independently, there are a number of affiliates and collaborators she coordinates as needed or requested.
